The right cleaner depends on cable finish, coating and the material of the tracks. Check your installation's care instructions first. Where the supplier permits it, a soft damp cloth can remove ordinary dust from reachable sections; dry the parts afterward.
Avoid damage while cleaning
Do not use harsh abrasives, unapproved chemicals or tools that scratch the coating. Do not pull, bend or stand on cables. Never lean over a balcony edge to reach an exterior surface; use a qualified service provider for inaccessible areas.

Notice any fraying, loose ends, coating damage or movement in the fittings. If something looks wrong, stop treating that part as a dependable barrier and request an inspection instead of trying to retension it yourself.
