Nets are quick to fit and lower in cost, and they are good at keeping pigeons out. They can sag or fade over time and are more visible from inside the home.
Invisible grills
Invisible grills use tensioned stainless steel cables in fixed tracks. They cost more than nets but look neater, keep the view clearer and are designed as a longer-term fitting.
Choosing
If your main problem is birds, a net may be enough. If you want a long-lasting barrier for children or pets with an open view, an invisible grill is usually the better fit. We're happy to advise on your balcony.
