Invisible Grill vs Traditional Grill
29 September 2026

What changes in the view?
An invisible grill uses closely spaced cables and tends to look lighter across an opening. A traditional metal grill uses more visible bars and may offer different decorative patterns or opening panels. Neither is literally invisible; look at real installations from the distance you normally use the room.
Compare the whole installation
Ask where the cables or bars anchor, how the edges are closed, whether a window still opens and how you would clean the exterior. For either design, suitable fixings and the condition of the supporting structure matter more than appearance alone.
Which should you choose?
If a lighter view is the priority, discuss a cable layout. If you want a decorative look or a particular opening mechanism, ask how a conventional grill could accommodate it. Check apartment rules and emergency access, then compare written specifications and installed prices for the same opening.
