Pets do not all use an opening the same way
A small dog may fit through a lower gap; a cat may climb cables or use a ledge to reach above them. Tell the installer the species, size and habits of your pet, not just that you own a pet.
Check beyond the straight span
Look at corners, railing gaps, drainage openings and furniture next to the balcony. A cable layout suitable for one animal is not automatically suitable for another. If the aim is to exclude birds or contain a climbing cat, discuss whether a suitable mesh enclosure is needed instead.
Stay cautious after installation
An invisible grill is not guaranteed pet-proof. Supervise pets, remove climbable objects near the edge and inspect accessible fittings. Ask for a site-specific assessment before relying on the proposed layout.
