Permission and safe access
Ask your apartment association whether balcony or facade changes need approval. Check that proposed tracks do not block doors, window movement, drainage, required emergency exits or cleaning access. Higher floors may require a particular safe-work method.
Opening and household
Measure each opening separately and show the installer side gaps, railing height and potential fixing surfaces. Mention children, pets and furniture near an edge. Do not assume a design shown in another flat will suit yours.
Quote and handover
Get the pricing unit, measurements, cable grade, diameter, spacing, fittings, installation scope, taxes and warranty conditions in writing. Ask what to inspect after installation and whom to contact if a fitting later moves.
